Field-by-field guide

1. 01

   Token name

   The full name wallets and explorers will display.

   Tip: E.g. “Aurora Project Coin”.

2. 02

   Symbol

   A 3–5 character ticker, like BTC or ETH.

   Tip: Check on Etherscan that it can't be confused with a well-known token.

3. 03

   Total supply

   The total number of tokens that will ever exist.

   Tip: E.g. 1000000 for one million. You can't mint more after deployment.

4. 04

   Decimals

   How finely each token can be divided.

   Tip: Keep 18: it's the standard wallets and exchanges expect.

5. 05

   Network

   Sepolia for testing; Ethereum or Polygon for production.

   Tip: Always run a full test on Sepolia first.

When it's done you'll get the contract address. Share it so others can add your token to their wallet, and check it on Etherscan for the “Verified” badge.
